My family moved from Cedar Rapids, Iowa when I was 6 years old.
My parents bought a house in Cupertino, California in 1967 and that is the house I grew up in.

We played on the very first girls soccer team in 1973 formed by the
A.Y.S.O. (American Youth Soccer Organization).
There were only 3 teams in the league the first year.
For the entire year we played the same 2 teams over and over again.
Who knew we were paving the way for womens soccer!
I played forward (left wing) all through high school and stopped playing when I was 23 years old.
I then played slow pitch co-ed softball (I was a pitcher) until I was in my 32.
I worked at Apple Computer for 10 years.
My husband and I married August 1st 1987
